Creative Programs for Groups

Weekly Art Programming.

A weekly group art program, focusing on the participants personal interests and goals encourages creative engagement, social connection, purpose and meaning. Creative Workshops for Groups

  • Flower Garden Painting

Participants are invited to try their hand at a floral painting using everyday objects instead of brushes. This demystifies the painting process and helps to open the participants up to playful exploration with surprising and delightful results.

  • Expressive Sketching

Participants explore the elements of human expression by combining simple shapes in unique ways to create their own characters full of personality and story-telling potential. No drawing skills are necessary

  • Pet Portraits with Mark-Making and Collage

Participants are invited to create a highly individual collage portrait of their favourite pet. This workshop includes an intuitive mark-making session which creates the unique collage elements for each participants portrait.

  • Creative Group Storytelling - TimeSlips

Participants have the opportunity to co-create storytelling giving them the opportunity for creative expression and community building without having to rely on memory. In the story making process we shift the activity from ‘entertainment’ to engagement, learning and growth. More about TimeSlips.

  • Botanical Collage

Participants create beautiful botanical collages. We start with an intuitive mark-making session to create the patterns and colours for our collage elements then use pre-drawn templates to create vivid and surprising collages.

  • Birch Trees

Participants learn to paint a vibrant fall landscape of birch trees using simple techniques and vibrant colours to create an artwork they will be proud of

  • Paint with the Masters

Create your own version of a masterwork by Van Gogh in this accessible and fun approach to painting. Participants are provide with a pre-stenciled canvas and reference material for them to ‘copy’ as they see fit. The final piece is then stenciled over to create a unique artwork that references the original yet remains truly unique to the individual participant and is ready to hang on the wall.
